The village of Heath lies to the South of Wakefield, West Yorkshire and has evolved to its current status as a Conservation area over the last 800yrs. We have populated our website with material we hope you will find useful in exploring our village and the surrounding area.

There were 75 eager residents of Heath at the meeting on 18th December 1969 when it was agreed to form the organisation to be known as Heath Residents Association with the stated aim to be "The improvement and preservation of Heath Common and its immediate environment". The Association has evolved over the last 48yrs and has been responsible for numerous improvements to the fabric of the village ensuring that our initial mission statement endures.
The next meeting of HRA will take place on Monday 4th September 2017 at 7.30pm at the Kings Arms, Heath. Please come along to get involved in the meeting and if you have anything you would like to raise we would be pleased to hear from you.
Heath Kite Festival will take place on Sunday 24th September 2017 from 10.00am, bring the whole family for loads of kite flying fun.
